Illustration Master Class 2011: Part 1 Sketches
Only 5 days away from this years Illustration Master Class! I spent this past weekend working on my final sketch for the class. Two weeks before that I took a bunch of references. Between that and finishing up a bunch of commissions I have been very busy!
The project I went with was doing a book cover for Frank Herbert’s DUNE. One of my favorite characters from the book was Jessica. So I wanted to a scene involving her. I decided I want to show her at the height of her power, loosing her son Paul as he became the Messiah of Dune.
