Gen Con 2012 – Part 1

Gen Con was awesome! It was great to reconnect with friends, meet new artists, art directors, and fans, and make new friends! I want to start off with a big thanks to Barbara and her staff; the Gen Con Art Show was EXCELLENT this year!

So much happened over so few days that I’m almost not sure where to start. This was my 4th Gen Con, and one of the big differences was that lots of Art Directors stopped by my booth to talk to me about their projects. In years past I would comb the floor looking for places to drop off my portfolio, but this year I almost ran out of portfolios just handing them to the people that said they were interested in working with me. It was VERY cool!

One neat little side note was that my booth from 2011 was featured in the Gen Con Program Book on pg. 112. Check me out chatting with my wife Loraine, and L5R art director Adrian!

Anyway…there’s a lot more for me to report, but that will have to wait.

Until then…
