Structure Drawings
Based on the feedback I received at Dragon Con I have been doing a lot of structural drawings, focusing on human anatomy. I have been using a tried and true artist’s anatomy book called “Bridgman’s Complete Guide to Drawing from Life.” Artists have used the book for decades to better understand the human form. What makes the book so useful to artists is that it focuses on the shapes that make up the human form as opposed to the nitty gritty medical details.
Here is a standing pose I did that I thought captured the form quite well.
