Today’s verse bring us to the end of the tale of “Odin and the Mead of Poetry.” I think it’s important to note that in order to win the mead, Odin swore an oath on his oath ring, and then broke his word. An unforgivable act by cultural standards. I love it when myth leaves us questioning. I have my own thoughts on this story and Odin’s “dastardly deeds,” but I’ll leave you to yours.
